Proudly supported by Nankang Tyres, Zeal Taekwon-Do Club has returned from a successful tournament at the New Zealand Nationals held in Christchurch. The team represented Counties Manukau, bringing home an impressive total of twelve medals.

Zeal Taekwon-Do’s instructor Lianna McCartney prides herself on the team spirit, determination and behaviour of her students. A highlight for Lianna was one of her students being recognised by the officials during the tournament for displaying great etiquette and being very courteous to their opponents during sparring.

“The whole team were complimented on being well-mannered and respectful throughout the championship” says Lianna “this means more to me than students winning medals”

Returning to Auckland with 3 Gold, 6 Silver and 3 Bronze medals, the results represent the amount of talent and skill amongst the Zeal Taekwon-Do students.

Congratulations to Lianna and the students of Zeal Taekwon-Do
